SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORM PROTECTION ADDENDUM
Effective Date: 05/27/26
Platform Name: LIQUID SOLDIER (“Company,” “Platform,” “we,” “us,” or “our”)
This Social Media Platform Protection Addendum (“Addendum”) supplements and forms part of the Platform’s Terms of Service and applies to all users, visitors, creators, moderators, advertisers, and participants using the Platform.
By accessing or using the Platform, users agree to be legally bound by this Addendum.
USER RESPONSIBILITY FOR CONTENT
Users are solely and fully responsible for all content they upload, post, publish, transmit, stream, share, or otherwise make available on or through the Platform, including but not limited to:
- Photos
- Videos
- Comments
- Profile information
- Messages
- Group chat communications
- Links
- Usernames
- Audio recordings
- Livestreams
- Community/group posts
Users represent and warrant that:
- They own or have all necessary rights to the content they submit;
- Their content does not violate any law or third-party rights;
- Their content is not defamatory, fraudulent, misleading, threatening, obscene, harassing, or unlawful.
The Company does not endorse, verify, or guarantee the accuracy of user-generated content.
1. LICENSE TO USER CONTENT
By posting or submitting content to the Platform, users grant the Company a worldwide, non-exclusive, transferable, sublicensable, royalty-free license to:
- Host
- Store
- Reproduce
- Modify
- Adapt
- Publish
- Distribute
- Display
- Perform
- Promote
- Create derivative works from
such content for purposes relating to operation, maintenance, development, security, promotion, and improvement of the Platform.
This license survives account termination to the extent reasonably necessary for backups, legal compliance, investigations, archived content, and cached systems.
2. PLATFORM MODERATION RIGHTS
The Company reserves the unrestricted right, at its sole discretion and without liability, to:
- Remove content;
- Restrict visibility or distribution;
- Edit metadata or categorization;
- Suspend or terminate accounts;
- Disable messaging features;
- Remove groups, communities, or chat channels;
- Investigate suspected violations;
- Cooperate with law enforcement;
- Limit access to features or services.
These actions may occur with or without notice and for any reason deemed necessary to protect the Platform, users, advertisers, partners, or legal compliance obligations.
Users acknowledge that moderation decisions are final and may occur automatically through software systems, artificial intelligence systems, human review, or a combination thereof.
3. PRIVATE MESSAGING & GROUP CHAT DISCLAIMER
The Platform may provide direct messaging, group chats, community discussions, or similar communication features.
Users acknowledge and agree that:
- Communications are user-generated and not controlled by the Company;
- The Company does not guarantee monitoring of messages or chats;
- The Company is not responsible for conduct occurring within chats or private groups;
- Users interact with others at their own risk.
The Company reserves the right, but not the obligation, to monitor, review, preserve, or disclose communications where reasonably necessary to:
- Enforce these terms;
- Protect users/the public;
- Detect spam, fraud, abuse, or illegal activity;
- Comply with legal obligations or lawful requests.
4. PROHIBITED CONTENT & ACTIVITIES
Users may not use the Platform to:
- Harass, threaten, stalk, or intimidate others;
- Upload unlawful, infringing, or stolen material;
- Impersonate individuals or entities;
- Distribute malware, spam, or scams;
- Promote violence or illegal activities;
- Share non-consensual intimate imagery;
- Publish another person’s private or confidential information;
- Exploit minors or engage in unlawful sexual conduct;
- Circumvent moderation or security systems.
The Company reserves full authority to determine what content or conduct violates these policies.
5. NO LIABILITY FOR USER CONDUCT
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company is not responsible or liable for:
- User-generated content;
- User behavior or interactions;
- Conduct occurring online or offline;
- Disputes between users;
- Reliance on user content;
- Offensive, harmful, inaccurate, or misleading content;
- Unauthorized access to user communications.
Users assume all risks associated with interactions on the Platform.
6. INDEMNIFICATION
Users agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company and its officers, directors, employees, affiliates, contractors, licensors, and partners from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, expenses, and legal fees arising out of or related to:
- User content;
- User conduct;
- Violation of these Terms;
- Violation of any law or third-party rights;
- Misuse of the Platform.
This obligation survives termination of the user’s account or access to the Platform.
7. COPYRIGHT & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY POLICY
The Company respects intellectual property rights and may remove allegedly infringing content upon proper notice. The Company reserves the right to:
- Remove infringing material;
- Disable repeat infringers;
- Terminate accounts associated with repeated violations.
Users represent that they possess all necessary rights for uploaded content, including music, video, photographs, trademarks, and likeness rights.
8. SALES TAX
All fees, purchases, subscriptions, memberships, advertising services, digital products, physical products, and other charges made through the Platform are exclusive of applicable sales, use, value-added, goods and services, excise, or similar taxes unless otherwise expressly stated.
Users are responsible for paying any and all taxes associated with their purchases, transactions, or use of paid services on the Platform. Where required by applicable law, the Company may collect and remit sales tax or other applicable taxes on behalf of governmental authorities. Any such taxes collected will be added to the purchase price and displayed at checkout or invoicing.
The Company reserves the right to determine, charge, collect, and remit applicable taxes based on the user’s billing address, shipping address, location, payment information, or other information required by law. Tax rates and taxability may change without notice due to changes in applicable laws or regulations.
Failure to pay applicable taxes may result in suspension, termination, or restriction of access to paid services until all outstanding amounts have been satisfied.
9. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE COMPANY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING:
- MERCHANTABILITY;
- FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE;
- NON-INFRINGEMENT;
- SECURITY;
- ACCURACY;
- RELIABILITY;
- AVAILABILITY.
The Company does not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or that content will always be secure or preserved.
10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE COMPANY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- INDIRECT DAMAGES;
- INCIDENTAL DAMAGES;
- CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES;
- SPECIAL DAMAGES;
- PUNITIVE DAMAGES;
- LOST PROFITS;
- LOST DATA;
- BUSINESS INTERRUPTION.
THE COMPANY’S TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF:
- $100 USD; OR
- THE AMOUNT PAID BY THE USER TO THE COMPANY IN THE PRIOR TWELVE (12) MONTHS.
11. ACCOUNT TERMINATION
The Company may suspend, restrict, or terminate user accounts at any time, with or without notice, for any reason or no reason.
Termination may include removal of content, usernames, communications, followers, groups, or associated data.
The Company is not obligated to restore terminated accounts or content.
12. ARBITRATION & CLASS ACTION WAIVER
Any disputes arising from or relating to the Platform or these Terms shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration.
Users waive any right to participate in class actions, collective lawsuits, or jury trials, except where prohibited by law.

14. CHANGES TO THIS ADDENDUM
The Company may modify this Addendum at any time.
Continued use of the Platform following updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
15. GOVERNING LAW
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of NEW JERSEY, without regard to conflict of law principles.
16. RETURN & REFUND POLICY
Marketplace Seller Returns
- Seller-Managed Returns: Items sold by third-party sellers are subject to sellers’ individual return policies. Liquid Soldier acts as a facilitator but does not govern seller-specific returns.
- Seller Responsibilities: Sellers must clearly disclose their return policies. Disputes should be directed to the seller.
Environmental and Seasonal Items
- Final Sale: Seasonal items, such as holiday decorations, and perishable goods, such as plants, are non-returnable unless defective.
- Resolution: Your vendor will arrange a replacement or refund based on their individual terms.
Refund Method Variations
- Store Credit: For certain promotions, refunds may be issued as store credit instead of the original payment method.
- Gift Purchases: Refunds for gifts will be issued to the original payment method unless the recipient requests otherwise.
Policy Changes
- Updates: This addendum may be updated periodically. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of changes.
Damaged During Transit
- Report Immediately: If your item arrives damaged, notify us within 5 days with photos.
17. TRANSACTIONS AND TAX RESPONSIBILITIES
Users are solely responsible for determining, collecting, reporting, and remitting any applicable federal, state, local, provincial, territorial, or international taxes arising from transactions conducted through the Platform, unless the Company is expressly required by law to collect and remit such taxes.
The Company does not provide tax advice and makes no representations regarding the tax treatment of any transaction conducted through the Platform. Users are encouraged to consult qualified tax professionals regarding their tax obligations.
Where applicable laws require the Company to collect, withhold, report, or remit taxes on behalf of users, the Company reserves the right to do so and may deduct such amounts from payments, proceeds, or account balances before distribution.
Users agree to provide accurate tax-related information when requested and acknowledge that failure to do so may result in delayed payments, withholding of funds, account restrictions, suspension, or termination.
The Company shall not be liable for any taxes, penalties, interest, audits, assessments, or other governmental charges incurred by users arising from their activities on the Platform.
