The foundation’s primary focus is to raise funds for the use of training service dogs which are then placed with veterans who suffer from PTSD and TBI (Traumatic Brain Injuries). Each dog is rescued from a kill shelter and costs $25,000 to train over a period of 6 months. To date the foundation has placed over 200 dogs with warriors who struggle with traumatic physical and psychological wounds. However, the dogs allow veterans to return to normal everyday activities which were once unattainable. All veterans dramatically reduce their prescription needs as a result of having these healing and life saving companions.
